Unfortunately, we don’t present one of Marcel Broodthaers’ Poèmes Industriels today. We are merely using an image of his 1969 Modèle: La Pipe as a cover image for our new collection of artists from Belgium. Because let’s be honest, what better way to introduce our new collection than through an image of the greatest Belgian artist of the last century, referencing another icon of Belgian art history. And as we love the combination of high and low culture, what better title to go with such hi-brow imagery than a little line we all heard a million times growing up – awarding us, once again, final place in the yearly Eurovision Song Awards…
