Every two years, between May and November, the art world flocks to Venice to see and discuss the current state of the arts. It is without a doubt the most important event in the art world. In our journal, we compiled an easy guide to lead you around the must-see highlights of this year’s edition, but in this collection, we offer affordable works by some of the stars of this year’s Venice Biennale. This collection’s cover image is Lara Favaretto’s Thinking Head (2018). A vapour-producing machinery has been installed on the roof of the Central Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, constantly obscuring its façade in hazy mist which renders the Pavilion mysterious and in flux, depending on the atmospheric conditions and the direction of the wind.
