Galerie Thomas Fischer

Founded in April 2011 the gallery presents international contemporary art. The gallery’s program is not media-specific but focuses on artists whose approach is conceptual and examines questions of space. Taking classical media as a starting point, the artists’ works reflect the specific rules of these media and expand on them with spatial and performative techniques.

The gallery is located in Berlin on the former Tagesspiegel area close to Potsdamer Platz and Neue Nationalgalerie. The gallery’s spaces were designed by the Berlin and Paris-based Atelier Architecture & Scenography Gonzalez/Haase.

Galerie Thomas Fischer represents Joachim Bandau, Margrét H. Blöndal, Dirk Braeckman, Marcel Frey, Seiichi Furuya, Laetitia Gendre, Friedemann Heckel, Cyrill Lachauer, Brian O’Doherty and Sebastian Stumpf.
