Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève

A pioneering institution in western Switzerland, the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, is dedicated to culture and contemporary artistic expression. More than a space for exhibitions, experimentation and reflection, the Centre is also a site for art, energy, storytelling and cultural production. Reflecting the vitality and diversity of the creation of the present, the Centre features all disciplines within contemporary practice: video, painting, performance, photography, new media, sculpture, drawing, music, architecture, dance and design.

Throughout the year the Centre presents major solo and group exhibitions of Swiss and international emerging and mid-career artists, and also incorporates artists of the 60s and 70s into its program. In addition, an artist’s studio is made available to young designers, who are invited to present an exhibition in the Project Space as part of a residence program. The moving image also occupies an important place in the Centre’s programming and the Cinema Dynamo offers a year-round selection of movies and artists’ videos.

Rue des Vieux-Grenadiers 10, Genève, Switzerland (CH).
