{"id":3804,"date":"2021-09-16T12:27:32","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T10:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artlead.net\/?post_type=product&#038;p=3804"},"modified":"2021-12-20T14:00:13","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T13:00:13","slug":"luc-tuymans-peaches-technicolor-2013","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/artlead.net\/nl\/product\/luc-tuymans-peaches-technicolor-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Luc Tuymans &#8211; Peaches &#038; Technicolor &#8211; 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To coincide with the major exhibition <em>Constable, Delacroix, Friedrich, Goya \u2013 A Shock to the Senses<\/em> (Dresden, Albertinum, Galerie Neue Meister), Luc Tuymans has applied two major wall paintings of <em>Peaches<\/em> and of <em>Technicolor<\/em> to the walls of the staircase of the Schauspielhaus, Postplatz, Dresden. These two works were part of the exhibition which opened on March 16th, 2013. <em>Peaches <\/em>and <em>Technicolor<\/em> originated as paintings which Tuymans first showed in London at the Zwirner Gallery in autumn 2012, together with the ALLO series. The pictures were inspired by two images from an advertising film from 1913, whose lack of sharpness and weak colour saturation particularly interested him as a painter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suite of 2 screenprints on BFK Rives 250 gram in a blue linen portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>This is a diptych, measuring 76 x 56 cm each.
