Art Basel - the most well-known art fair in the world - opens its doors to the public on Thursday 14 June in Switzerland’s cultural capital. Together with an international flock of collectors, curators and artists, we visited the fair during the professional preview earlier that week.
Taking place at herzog & de meuron‘s impressive ‘messe hall’, Art Basel brings together 290 galleries from 35 countries, showing the world’s most in-demand artists of the moment. While at the fair, we saw over plenty of artists from our website, so we made this selection to help you collect artists featured at Art Basel – for a fraction of the price.
