Manfred Pernice

°1963, Hildesheim (DE) – lives and works in Berlin

One of the most outstanding German artists of his generation, Manfred Pernice is known for anti-monumental work. Reflecting on the complex relationship between sculpture, visual art, architecture, city-building and human stories of time and place, Pernice creates objects and sculptures that suggest themselves as already existing in everyday life, formed of a language that is distinctively recognisable.
